Friday ‘Road Trip’ Café
Don’t miss this week’s ‘Road Trip‘ Café!
Odysseus probably invented the concept of a road trip. Of course in his time cars did not exist, but they had boats and chariots in which to travel. Odysseus found truth about himself and others during his journey. However, it was a very long trip, way too long for my personal taste, and his adventures were quite extreme!
Nowadays, a road trip is usually in a car, and can also be unplanned or impromptu. Many of my friends have taken road trips, and I would love to do one across the USA in a big camper. This year I made a short road trip along the coast of New England with someone near and dear, and it was wonderful.
What about you—have you ever done a road trip, and where did you go? How was it? Was it fun or disappointing?
If you have never made a road trip, are you hoping to do one in the future? If so, where would you like to go?
Please have a seat, order a drink, and tell us your story.
